booked 2 rooms at Miss Molly's, for 8 women for a bachlorette party. After seeing the reviews on Trip Advisor & visiting Miss Molly's website, I was a little scared to put it mildly. But, the bride had stayed there a few years before and she wanted to stay there again. I called Miss Molly's directly. The innkeeper said she had two rooms available that would sleep 8. These weren't rooms viewable on their website. I had to arrive early to book the rooms. All I can say is WOW! It was like stepping back in time, to an old brothel, in a one horse town. The furniture, art, decorations, etc are all 'period' furnishings. I've stayed at much larger & nicer B&B's, but this B&B "fit" the atmosphere of the Fort Worth Stockyards. The rooms we were given were connecting rooms, which was perfect & unexpected surprise. The Miss Josie's Room had been reserved,(but not paid for yet) and I was allowed to go inside. It is a GORGEOUS room. (I didn't have my camera with me when I checked in, earlier in the day) This room IS the perfect romantic room. I would stay at Miss Molly's with my husband, if I could stay in this room. Our rooms were pretty & cozy. It feels like you just stepped into your grandmother's house. There are no televisions at Molly's. We weren't there to watch T.V. anyway. We were eight wild women, going out on the town. We wanted somewhere to stay after a night of partying in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Our innkeeper, Donna, was so nice. The hotel was completely booked the Saturday night we were there. I only saw one other couple that had 2 small children @ the time of check in. Other than that, I never saw or heard anyone else other than our group, the inn keeper included. It was like we had the entire B&B to ourselves. There were more than 8 women that met us at the hotel before we started our night on the town. I just knew we were being too loud and disturbing the other guests. The next morning I asked the innkeeper if we had made too much noise. She said, she didn't hear anything. Her room was directly across from ours. A stairway that runs thru the middle of the great room down to the street, seperates the two 'halls'. There are 3 main bathrooms, that all have more than one toilet. They each have a footed bathtub w/ shower. The only room that has a private bath is Miss Molly's room and it's AWESOME. There's a small kitchen area, if you want to put food in the fridge, or need to use the microwave, that has a small bistro size table. That's where the backdoor is located, with the iron steps leading down to the alley. (It's basically a Fire Exit) The alley is quite large and open. It's not like the dark, back alley ways in dowtown New York or something. LoL. When you check in, she gives you the key to your room. They all have individual window airconditioners with ceiling fans. The beds & bedding are sooooo comfortable. The rooms have dark, wooden old timey shutters, with hardwood floors thruout. The inn is located over the Star Cafe in the Stockyards. Me & another from our group went up to our rooms, after the bars had shut down. But the rest of the ladies, were still in "party mode" and stayed outside in front of the hotel. (There's no smoking in Miss Molly's)I didn't hear them or ANYTHING else, except the lulling sound of my airconditioner! I haven't slept that good in a LONG time. The next morning, the other ladies said the same thing. As for breakfast, Miss Molly's is owned & operated by her sister B&B, the Stonehouse Bed & Breakfast which is where your complimentary FULL breakfast is served. It's located a few blocks down. When I checked us all in, the Innkeeper asked me, what my actual headcount was going to be for breakfast the next morning ( so she would know how many she was actually cooking for) and I wasn't sure @ the time of check-in. She said it was no problem, she gave me her cell # and told me to call her later on that evening when I would have a better idea. She also gave me almost a $100 discount off of the two rooms! Well, with all of the hub-bub and more than a dozen women I forgot. (I heard about it the next morning though, from the other ladies, once Donna had told them what they had had for breakfast!) I was the last one up....=D If you don't make it down to Stonehouse in time to catch breakfast, the Star cafe is right downstairs. Miss Molly's website is outdated. It's much quainter and cozier in person.

Miss Molly's is located in the heart of the Stockyards. It was perfect! The next time I stay there, I'll be staying with my husband in "Miss Josie's Room".

Miss Molly's and her sister hotel the "Stone House" are the places to stay if you are looking for a "not so typical" hotel.
These hotels will take you back to a different place in time, wonderfully decorated with a great atmosphere.
Out the front door and enjoy the shops, restaurants, and night life of the Fort Worth Stock Yards.
If you're there for the night life, Miss Molly's would be it, in the middle of all the excitement and entertainment the Stock Yard has to offer.
If you're there for a quieter night, the Stone house (around the corner, and off the main street) would be the better place to stay. Wonderful, bunk house atmosphere and beautifully decorated to that era.
Get the tour of both places while you are there, it's well worth it.
Fantastic buffet breakfast with all the trimmings on Saturday and Sunday mornings and a very friendly staff.
These hotels are definitely NOT for the cranky and the ones that prefer a hotel with the same old dull routine. Not your typical stuffy shirt hotel. Come for the excitement and the adventure or stay somewhere else!
Awesome experience! We will definitely stay again!

Wonderfully quaint, you feel like your back in the early days of the old boarding house. The owners, Gus & Dawn couldn't have been more helpful, recommending places to see, and soooo friendly. If you want all the modern conveniences, go to the Radisson, but if you want a wonderful experience in the Ft worth Stockyards, this is the place to stay.

Circa 1910. An Old West ambiance permeates this hotel, which once was a house of ill repute. Miss Josie's Room, named for the former madame, is decked with elaborate wall and ceiling coverings and carved oak furniture. The Gunslinger Room is filled with pictures of famous and infamous gunfighters. Rodeo memorabilia decorates the Rodeo Room, and twin iron beds and a pot belly stove add flair to the Cowboy's Room. Telephones and TV sets are the only things missing from the rooms, as the innkeeper hopes to preserve the flavor of the past.

This property has been featured in British Bulldog, Arkansas Gazette, Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Continental Profiles, Fort Worth Gazette, Eyes Of Texas.
